Matt, I love everything about this photo, from the huge DoF to the autumn colours and blue, blue sky. I can almost feel the wind. You need at least one of these 5D Mk III's in your camera bag with a pair of Sandisk 128 gig SDXC class 10, and at least one extra battery. Honestly, this picture blows me away. I think I will get an M42 adapter so I can use my dad's old Pentax Super Takumar glass with my T2i. I have a case full of lenses I can't toss!
Thanks Oh how I wish I had a 5D. That would be amazing. Ehhh 128GB is too much. I have reasons for saying that. But definitely get that adapter. Just cause the lenses are old doesn't mean they aren't worth a lot and can't take great photos
maarkb told me about it. the price is like $8 from india or $20 from usa. Those lenses were great. Nice sharp focus. I have a friend with the same body but some better lenses. He might give them to me. He had a nice 28mm that worked out well taking interior shots. My wide angle wasn't as good. One nice feature of the 5D III is that it can write to both cards at the same time. I'm a backup freak so thats the way I would use it. I have a 32, same otherwise, but if I was going to record recitals I would need a bigger one. But the T2i has automatic recording level which sucks when recording music if a wide dynamic range. The 5 has manual adjustments. Your work is progressing very nicely, Matt.
