Yosemite River by Camel51 Yosemite River by Camel51
I was driving around sunrise to meet up with my photography group in Yosemite and saw how nice the river looked. So I got out of the car and ran down to the river bank, found a nice spot for a photo, and took it. What do you think?

Sometimes a photo can make the place better than it actually looked. Granted it looked really nice to be able to get a good photo but this was actually along side a road and the whole seen wasn't too exciting. Thanks =)

great composition. what was your HDR blending technique? and didn't the polarizer and ND grad degrade the sharpness of the 24/1.4L significantly? or were you shooting with hardcore Lee or Cokin plate filters?

Thanks! As for my blending technique.. I'm not too sure. I just used Nik HDR Efex Pro 2. I used the auto align with I think the Deep preset and changed some of the sliders to what I liked. I haven't done much HDR so I don't know a lot of it's terminology. For the filters I used a HOYA Pro 1 digital polarizer and a Cokin grad ND. They are both nice filters and I used a sharp aperture so it doesn't seem to have degraded the quality much.

Yup =) I looove that camera. Sadly I could only use it for the period of the workshop =( I would totally buy it if I had the money. And that lens is phenomenal too. Thanks a bunch I'm so glad you like it.
